Privacy policy
Last updated: 19 October 2026
This policy explains what data Cinnabar Games collects when you play our games or visit this website, why we collect it, and what you can do about it. It applies to all our games, including Tiny Space Program and Quantum Squad.
Who we are
Cinnabar Games is run by Jerry Neimann in the Netherlands. We are the data controller for the data described here. You can reach us at support@cinnabargames.com.
What we collect in our games
Our games do not ask for your name, email address or account details. Game progress is saved on your device. The games and the services built into them collect the following:
| Data | Used for |
|---|---|
| Device identifiers, including the advertising ID | Showing ads, measuring how ads perform, and analytics |
| Approximate location, derived from your IP address | Choosing relevant ads and understanding which regions players come from |
| Gameplay and usage data, such as levels reached, features used and session length | Improving game balance and fixing problems |
| Purchase history (what was bought, not payment details) | Delivering in-app purchases and understanding which offers players use |
| Crash reports and performance data | Finding and fixing bugs |
Payments are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. We never see your card or bank details.
Who we share data with
We don't sell your data. The games use third-party services that process the data above on our behalf or as independent controllers:
- Google AdMob for advertising (Google privacy policy)
- Google Analytics for Firebase for analytics and crash reporting
- Google Play and the Apple App Store for downloads and purchases
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, they rely on safeguards approved by the European Commission, such as standard contractual clauses.
Ads and your choices
In the EEA and UK, the games ask for your consent before showing personalised ads. You can change that choice in the game settings where available. You can also reset or limit your advertising ID in your device settings: on Android under Settings › Privacy › Ads, and on iOS by turning off Allow Apps to Request to Track. You'll still see ads, but they won't be based on your interests.
Legal basis
We process data based on your consent (personalised ads), our legitimate interest in running, improving and fixing our games (analytics and crash reports), and the need to deliver what you bought (purchases).
How long we keep data
We keep data only as long as we need it for the purposes above. Analytics and crash data are deleted automatically according to the retention settings of the services we use. Emails you send us are kept as long as needed to help you, and at most two years after our last contact.
Children
Our games are made for a general audience. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13, or under the age of digital consent in their country (16 in the Netherlands), beyond what the services above need to run the game and show non-personalised ads. If you believe a child has shared personal data with us, email us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask to see, correct or delete your data, object to how it's used, or withdraw consent at any time. Email support@cinnabargames.com. Because we don't know who you are, we may ask for your device's advertising ID to find your data. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority, the Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens.

Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we'll also let you know in the games.
